The bible tells us that “the joy of the Lord is your strength.” We always want to tap into the joy of the Lord. His joy is available to strengthen us daily! We should be intentional in choosing joy. It’s so easy to run with our emotions and let them dictate how we feel. Even on our “not so great days” we can interrupt that feeling by remembering that we have the joy of the Lord! It’s so common to hear people “Swear to …” to show the listener how much they are telling the truth. It’s common, but it is not right. We should be careful to pay attention to things we say.
